Senior Forest Engineer

Our Senior Forest Engineers are responsible for the layout of cut blocks and roads for both conventional and helicopter logging. Duties will also include collection of appraisal data, crew supervision and completion of related office work..

Candidates will posses the following qualifications:

• • Post Secondary degree or diploma in forestry or a min um of 5 years directly related experience in forest engineering.
• • Solid knowledge of RoadEng and GIS
• • Good working knowledge of forestry legislation and regulations in B.C. ( e.g. FRPA, Forest Act, etc..)
• • Registration or eligibility for registration with the ABCFP is an asset.
• • Proficiency with computer software including word and excel.
• • A valid BC drivers licencse
• • A commitment to maintaining a high level of safety, efficiency and quality in all aspects of work.
• • A desire for a fun, challenging and rewarding career.

We Work in a dynamic environment, and camp work maybe required for the above position depending on client needs. preference will be given to those with experience in Coastal British Columbia. Although Individuals with solid forest engineering experience from other areas of BC are invited to apply.
